Tim Gottus

Tim Gottus will be the first to tell you: the older he gets, the nerdier he becomes. Between five and seven meetings a day, Tim still finds time to go down research rabbit holes on tax laws, quantum physics, or whatever question is stuck in his head. Curiosity and learning, he says, go hand in hand. 

As a Partner at Madan+ with over 24 years in the business, Tim works with high-earning professionals and business owners to bring structure to even the most multifaceted financial decisions, approaching every case like a mechanic. He wants to know exactly how something works, then know it well enough to explain it simply. 

Tim would rather take a call at 8pm to talk through a decision than clock out early, and he treats every relationship as one with a ripple effect that reaches the next generation and the ones that follow. It’s why he holds himself to a standard of complete honesty and education in every conversation. 

Outside of the office, Tim runs on faith, family, and motion. He loves to exercise, travel, and has jumped out of a plane… several times. He coaches youth sports and serves on his township’s planning committee. His family is on a mission to visit every MLB stadium in the country. And when they aren’t traveling, Tim and his wife are frequent hosts. They’re known to invite a few people over for dinner and somehow end up with thirteen. Ask him why, and he’ll say the more the merrier.
