He picked it up early in his career, back when he was working with young families and small business owners in New York City. He calls it his “family medicine” phase. The problems weren’t glamorous, but they were real. It is also where he learned to listen, diagnose, and execute. Nothing fancy.

When he moved into estate and insurance planning for clients with a lot more at stake, Kuldeep noticed a problem: the industry seems built to reward transactions, not relationships.

He wanted to build something better. A firm that values the relationships, lives, and legacies of its clients. A firm clients could trust to help get it right.

So he started Madan+.

Today, M+ helps ultra-affluent families, founders, and entrepreneurs coordinate their financial picture: estate, tax, insurance, exits, assets, protection. All of it.

He also hosts Office Hours with Kuldeep Madan, where he sits down with the smartest, most interesting people he knows and gives away everything he has learned along the way. Because knowledge is made to be shared.

The ambition Kuldeep pours into his professional pursuits are reflected in his personal pursuits as well: Kuldeep and his wife have made it their mission to see the whole world. In between their travels, the Madans call Long Island City home.
