Gerard Serzega brings seven years of experience in the insurance industry to his role in Case Management Support at Madan+. He began his career with LFG in Pittsburgh and later relocated to Charleston while maintaining his insurance license. Through that experience, he developed a strong interest in the operational side of insurance and the behind‑the‑scenes processes that keep cases progressing and clients supported.
Gerard holds a degree in Media and Communications from Penn State and maintains his Life, Accident, and Health license. He combines clear, effective communication with industry knowledge and a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach to operations.
In his day‑to‑day work, Gerard monitors active client cases, updates critical information, coordinates closely with underwriting, and supports the broader operations team. He is known for his ability to connect easily with others and for his thoughtful, collaborative approach. He brings curiosity and a strong desire to learn, often immersing himself in new systems and workflows to support continuous improvement.
What motivates Gerard most is gaining a deeper understanding of the full back‑end insurance process and contributing to a team that values coordination, efficiency, and shared accountability.
Outside of work, Gerard enjoys staying active at the gym, exploring the city, golfing during warmer months, and attending Sunday church services. Guided by a personal commitment to humility and gratitude, he brings a steady, reliable presence to his work. His goal is to support his team consistently and approach each responsibility with care and professionalism.
